Funerals can truly be augmented by a poem that is apt and fitting for the person you have just lost. The following list of funeral poems about Lego are perfect for those who loved building and rebuilding marvellous creations with those famous little bricks.

Building A Legacy
by Mark Gregory
The Lego builder, with skill and care,
Constructed worlds, beyond compare,
With towers tall, and cities fair:
A legacy, to last and share.
With every brick, a story told,
A bright creation, sturdy and bold,
A masterpiece that broke the mould:
A legacy that will never grow old.
And now, the builder’s time has come,
But their creations live on and on,
A testament to the builder’s fun:
A legacy, to shine upon.
So from this moment, let’s endeavour
To celebrate these worlds so clever;
We’ll think of them, whenever, wherever:
A legacy, to go on forever.
Lego House
by Britney Njomo
The pieces on the floor
They are there but nothing more
Like the pieces of a heart
I can glue them part by part
I’m gonna build a Lego house
And a Lego bridge
For my Lego spouse
I’m gonna place them one by one
For my Lego son
and my Lego friends
They never run away
They never leave me in the waves
Lego love
Lego hatred
Lego buildings that I’ve created
I might be out of mind
out of sight
out of time
but I’m forever the queen of my Lego house
I might be out of love
out of touch
out of sound
but I’m forever the queen of my Lego house
Ode To My Legos
by Dylan Harvey
You make me creative which makes me fun!
You made me realise that you are not fun sometimes.
You are tuff and mean when I step on you.
You make me happy to see you new and cool in the store or online.
You are colourful and small but together you are majestically massive.
Sometimes I misplace you, but when I’m focused I find you soon.
You are fun when you are together, but not when you are done.
My dog thinks you are food crunch! crunch! crunch!, but I know you may fight back.
You are so bright it makes me cry.
When I finish creating different things, I may destroy you.
There are so many of you, but compared to Legoland, this is small.
You may be decoration but you are more to me.
You are the biggest set and I am happy to see you.
You are beautiful when you are together, but it makes me sad because the adventure is over.
