Part of my Live Singer services – serving Keighley and the Worth Valley.
Keighley and the Worth Valley have a musical heritage that runs deep – from the Brontë connection that draws visitors from across the world to the brass band tradition that shaped generations of communities across the district. Live music matters here. And when I perform in Keighley, I feel that history in the room.
I’ve performed across the Worth Valley – at Keighley Golf Club, at care homes and community venues, at private events throughout the district – and the audiences here bring a directness and a warmth that makes performing genuinely enjoyable.
Keighley has a strong and varied events culture – community fundraisers, club nights, school and college events, hotel functions, and private celebrations – and live music is a consistent and valued part of that landscape.
The audiences here tend to be unpretentious and enthusiastic, which is exactly the kind of crowd that gets the most out of a live performance.
I perform across a wide range of formats in Keighley and the Worth Valley – background music for receptions and dinners, live sets for private parties, concert hosting, and singing waiter appearances that tend to catch people completely off guard in the best possible way.
There are several excellent venues in Keighley and the Worth Valley that work well for live music.
Keighley Golf Club – a venue I’ve performed at previously, with a relaxed membership atmosphere and well-managed event spaces that suit corporate socials, club dinners, and private celebrations with a live music element.
East Riddlesden Hall – the National Trust manor house on the banks of the Aire, a venue I know well from multiple events. The grounds and the building provide a genuinely distinctive backdrop for outdoor or indoor live music, and for a private event that wants something truly memorable, East Riddlesden is one of the finest choices in the Keighley area.
Keighley Playhouse – a community arts venue with genuine character and a performance space that suits a more theatrical or concert-style live set. For events that want something with real performing arts credibility, the Playhouse is Keighley’s most distinctive option.
Crossflatts Village Hall – a community venue I’ve performed at, well suited to local events, fundraisers, and private celebrations that want live music in a warm and familiar setting.
The Fleece, Ripponden – slightly south of Keighley but well within the Worth Valley orbit, a venue I’ve worked at on more than one occasion and one that suits a relaxed, warm live music evening extremely well.
Keighley and the Worth Valley have a genuine love of live music, and I’d love to bring mine to your event.
Whether it’s a corporate dinner at the golf club, a private party, a community fundraiser, or something at one of the characterful venues in the surrounding valley – get in touch and let’s make it happen.
